. Dr Robert Farmer has been appointed as ERAQRA Chairman. He is ERAQRA's second chairman since its creation in October 2005, and assumed his new role on 11 April 2007. John Rawlinson, previous Chairman of ERAQRA, announced on Wednesday 21 March 2007, his intention to step down.
ERAQRA has written to the leaseholder of RAQ to ask for formal recognition as a residents association at the development. This will build on the good relationships we have developed with stakeholders in the development, and allow ERAQRA to explore new sources of funding. In addition it will give residents an even greater role in the management of the development by ensuring ERAQRA is formally consulted when the developer and management company address matters at RAQ
Berkeley homes has agreed to fund a crossrail station at Woolwich Arsenal as part of the regeneration of the local area. The terminal at Woolwich in south-east London will be built without adding to the overall cost of the project. Berkeley Homes will build and pay for the basic box structure of the station, and construct its own development overhead. |
